
Eliza Kate Coupe was born on April 6 1981. She is an American comedian, actress, model and comedian. Her role includes Jane Kerkovich-Williams in ABC's comedy series Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney in Scrubs the final two seasons, Tiger on Hulu's comedy series Future Man, and Hannah Wyland in Quantico. She was a prominent character on Fox's comedy Pivoting. She was recently as a supporting character on the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. The actress was on tour in France in 2003 to play a soldier in an all-female King Lear version. The one-woman show, The Patriots (a sketch show created by her) first aired in November of 2005 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She was awarded the Breakout Performer Award at HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. Coupe was wed from December 2007 to June 2013 to Randall Whittinghill (acting teacher, puppeteer). She announced her engagement to Darin Oliveren on Instagram on the 27th of November in 2014. The couple was married on December 24, 2014 while on holiday in New Zealand. In the year 2018, they divorced. From April 2011 to May 2013, Coupe starred on the ABC ensemble comedy series Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. The show was pulled by ABC on May 3, 2013 in spite of the critical acclaim. It also gained a cult following. After Happy Endings was cancelled, she played a recurring part in the third season of House of Lies. She was also on the show with Jay Harrington on the comedy series Benched. It premiered on October 28th on the 28th of October, 2014. Then she was cast as the character of Hannah Wyland in Quantico, an ABC thriller.
