Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia is an actress and model. In Australia she was known for her role in the character Pepper Steiger in Neighbors, which was a soap show which aired 100 episodes from the period 2006-2007. Her first project to be a part of Hollywood was the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine in which she played a young actress who is new to Hollywood. Then she was offered a part as Maya the sexy and gorgeous medical student, in Scrubs' ninth season. The show is then abruptly put on hold. Following that, she was able to shoot an episode of the Farrelly brothers-produced comedy called Good to Shoot, which starred the Jason Sudeiki and Owen Wilson tandem. Thereafter, the actress appeared in short series and B series films. In 2013 she was discovered in a greater way.
